Hello, we purchased our westie "Raider" from you Labor Day weekend in 2006. Just wanted to let you know he is doing FANTASIC. He is now 3 years and 1 month old. Raider is our only Son and we Love him sooooo much. He has just been perfect. He gets 30 minute walks every morning and Loves them. He Loves playing catch and chasing and returning his miniture soccer ball. He enjoys laying on "his" recliner or laying with us and watching TV while being cuddled and spolied. He has a little brother Reggie who is 2 years old and treats him very well, they play so well together. Raider Loves his Friday night visits to his buddies next door Missy and Max, they run all through the night. Raider Loves his doggy door. He has slept in our bed since we brought him home, right about 9:00 PM he jumps up on bed gets comfy and waits for Mom and Dad. We have wanted to stop by and visit and will soon. Just want to let you all know he is in a Loving caring home. Anyway, take care and drop a line. Ron & Maryann
Hi Angie,
Just wanted to send you the latest picture of Leo.  He is such a wonderful dog.  He will be 10 months old next week.  It is really hard to believe..
He has gone through basic puppy training and just finished agility training.  There were only 2 dogs in the class, so it was really great.  He came in 2nd by a few seconds.  The next class we are doing is focus training using a clicker and then when he is older he will do the "Good Citizen" training.
All of the trainers and staff at his day camp just go on and on about what a great personality he has.  I attribute this to you and how you handle your dogs.
Hope you are having a great summer.
Denise
Hi, Angie!! Abby is nearly 8 months now and she is so beautiful. I looked at your site again and saw that Maggie (from the JC Penney catalog) has the same parents as Abby....Cassi and Toby. Now that Abby is growing up it's very evident they share the same DNA....as you can see from the attached picture. Cassi and Toby sure make some pretty babies. Anyway, Abby is a very sweet dog and really smart. We hare doing some training now with sit, stay, come, etc. Cheese works excellent!! Just thought I would give you an update....Take Care! Sheri
 Hi Angie,

Well, it has been a while since I have had new pictures of Bailey to send.  To update you, he became less of a boy on February 4th…poor thing!  But he survived the procedure and still is spunky!  He loves to go for walks and to work with Johnny whenever possible.  Johnny takes him in the truck and he loves to ride! (My husband has his own roofing business and visits customers).  Bailey is his little “sales” trick I think ;)

We have taken him camping and he loves to camp!  Of course, we did not take pictures!  We will be going soon again, so I will make sure to bring the camera.

Anyway, attached is the most recent picture of Bailey after he got his first hair cut at the groomer.  They call it the “Sunflower” cut.

Hope you are doing well!

Michelle

Hi Angie,
Someone wanted to say hi.  We named him Carter.  He was in the breed (Cassie's) born Sept 30th and you kept him for us for some time after so he could be a Christmas present.  He's great and is just now getting trained to go outside (bathroom).  He also really loves to play fetch and tug-of-war.  Thanks again!!!
David
Angie,
I wanted to send a picture of our sweet Penny!  She has been such a joy to have.
She is a very sweet dog who loves people and other dogs, she has socialized
really well :)  She is my little companion always following me around!  Hope all
is well!

Jennifer

Hi Angie,
I wanted to give you an update on Leo.  He is 4 1/2 months old now and is such a sweetie.  He was neutered and micro chipped this past Monday.  Everything went very well.
We found this wonderful doggie day camp and boarding company located 10 minutes from our house.  It is the Pet Palace.  Leo goes just about every day and really enjoys group play.  They say he is the best tempered puppy/dog they have ever seen.  They let the dogs in one at a time and when Leo is there they always put him in first because he welcomes all the others so well.  I really do attribute this to you and how you operate your breeding business.  You do a terrific job.
Anyway, I will keep you posted.  Here is the latest picture of him.  Oh, almost forgot he had a play date with his half sister Darby last weekend.  It was fun to watch.
Thanks, again for Leo.
Denise
Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful puppy! He has been so fun for us!!! He is going to the vet tomorrow to get his check up! Take Care and thanks again =) I will send pictures soon!

Sincerely,
Ashlee
I wanted to give you an update on our little Kira! She is extremely smart and gives tons of love to us. I couldn't have asked for a happier and more beautiful puppy! I took a few pics of her before her other ear came up, which was about a month ago and wanted to share them with you. More pics to come! Thanks again for such a wonderful dog. She has truly become part of our family! Regards, Lindsey

Angie,
Just wanted to let you know that Zoey is doing wonderful. She is a lot of fun and a little ball of excitement. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful puppy and best friend. Hope all is well for you. Here are some pictures of Zoey, hope you enjoy them.

Hello Ms. Hasty~ Good afternoon. How are you doing? I wanted to let you know Madison is growing up very quickly. In a couple of weeks she will be 8 months old. I think she now weighs about 15 lbs (small sack potatoes). She is very perky and loves to go walking on Town Lake (Lady Bird Lake). Oh, and most recently she found out what a squirrel is! She loves both people and other pets. Her no#1 priority is to play and have fun! December 2009: Madison is going to get spayed next week. January 2009: In January 2009 we are going to take an dog obedience class at Petsmart so that Madison can learn "doggy etiquette." February 2009: Oh, and I called the Dell Children's Hospital and I am going to fill out the paperwork so that Madison (Mattie) can be a "therapy dog." The program is called the Woody Pet Therapy Program. There are hundreds of children at the hospital with terminal illness and/or cancer and I thought it would be a good thing to take Madison to the hospital to cheer up the kids and give them a glimmer of hope... I want you to know Madison is a wonderful dog... Thank you for letting her be apart of my life! Have a beautiful day. Sincerely, Gloria

Hi Angie,
I saw the update on the new litter.  I guess we made the right choice with Leo.  We still would not have had a girl. He really is doing well. What a sweetie, but a stinker at the same time.  We really do love him.
I have attached a picture to show you what happens when the weather is too cold to walk.
Potty training is going very well.
Hope you are doing well.
Denise
Hi, Angie.  I thought you might like to know that Abby is doing Super!!  She is as sweet as pie all day long, too smart for her own good, and a very good puppy in general....UNTIL her "witching hour" of 5:00pm.  Then she turns into the Tasmanian Devil on and off until bed time...lol.   We are in the middle of daytime crate training, and she does NOT like that at all.  She's okay with her crate, but protests very loudly and long about being left alone.  So, hopefully that will get better.  Any pointers for crate training puppies this young?  Anyway, as you can see by the pics, she is gorgeous....and she knows it!!
;-)

Angie,
Here is Leo.  He went to the doctor and got a good bill of health.  He got a virus thing up the nose, ate a heart worm pill and was checked for worms.  He came out clean on the worms.
I thought that you would enjoy this picture.  He has already made friends with the Springer Spaniel next door.
Thanks,
Denise

Hi Angie,

Here are some pictures of Bailey’s first day home.  Here he is at Grandma’s house (who came with me to pick him out) and she spoiled him rotten.  The first night sleeping was a little rough.  He does not like sleeping in a kennel, so we tried having him sleep with us.  Too funny!  He and I were up every two hours.  He had to go potty, eat and play then back to sleep.

The second night, last night, he was better.  We played all day with him, so he was pretty tuckered out at night.

He is a bundle of joy.  He seems to be very smart.  He has picked up on “outside” and “inside” and uses the paper too.

He is such a little darling!!!

By the way, it looks like Grandma will be babysitting most days J

Will keep you updated~

Michelle

Good afternoon.
How are you doing?
It is hard to believe we are less than 90 days away from the holidays.
I wanted to let you know that Makala's puppy--Madison is doing well.
Several weeks ago I took her to the vet to get her 3rd round of doggy
shots. She got her little doggy tags.
Madison is very special. She loves both people and other pets.
She attends doggy day care M-F and she has made lots of little friends.
Her best friend is another Westie named Pumpkin.
About 3 weeks ago Madison started losing her baby teeth.
When we were playing fetch--I found 3 on the carpet. Right now she has
lost many teeth and when she smiles she resembles a
doggy-jack-o-lantern!
Madison has a very perky personality. I think she weighs about 8-11 lbs.
She has a hearty appetite and she is eager to learn new things esp. if
she is rewarded with treats/cookies! Infact, she taught herself how to
jump on the kitchen chair! Madison even knows the commands: sit, paw,
lay down, and come...We go walking on Town Lake on Saturday & Sunday
morning. Madison is very interested in watching the ducks, birds, and
anything that moves-even a squirrel!

Have a nice day.

Sincerely,
Gloria Ann

Hi Angie,

Walker and I are doing great!
She just got groomed for the first time.
I love her and she is so funny.
She is a great companion.  Thanks again!

Hello Ms. Hasty~

Good afternoon.
I hope you are having a nice day.
I wanted to drop you a little note and let you know how my little girl
is doing.
Thank you for taking care of my little girl.
I have named her Madison (Mattie). I took her to the vet yesterday for
some shots & a puppy visit. Dr. Rogers said she was a fine looking puppy
and she had a nice personality.

Oh, and you were right--Madison is a big helper. Sometimes when she
drinks water she tries to carry the bowl...She is definitely an early
bird-she is up & ready to eat at 5am! In addition, she has a hearty
appetite and she enjoys playing with her new toys. Most importantly she
loves to be held.
Have a terrific day.

Sincerely,

Gloria Ann
Here are pics of Gus in his new home. We will send more later on!

Thanks again for raising our boy for us!

Hello Ms. Hasty~

Good afternoon.
How are you doing?

I wanted to let you know how Makala's puppy Madison is doing.
Madison will turn 4 months this Friday. She is truly a bundle of joy and
it is exciting watching her grow up and learn so many wonderful things.
Thank you so much for bringing her to me...

Madison has had her first 2 rounds of doggy shots/vaccinations. This
weekend Madison is going to get her facial hair & toes trimmed. The last
week in August she is getting ready for her 3rd round of doggy shots.

I am happy to say Madison already knows the following doggy commands:
sit, give paw, & lay down. She is learning the words "fetch" and "roll
over." Madison understands the following words: good girl, go potty, and
the magic word "cookie." Oh, and my little Madison loves to play in
water! And she likes to have her belly rubbed...

Have a terrific day.

Sincerely,

Gloria

Hey Angie,
Chloe is doing great!! She sticks by our sides, always, and she loooooves water. hee hee. She tried to get into our lake, but we told her no.  She is very curious but smart. We'll have lots of fun with her, & years to come. She gets along with our fat cat Thumper, and just plays with the kiddos. Thank you for bringing our newest baby into the world  I will send pics when shes a little bigger, and update you on vet checks. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
 Laci

Hello!  We love our new puppy so much.  He's the cutest little energy ball ever.  We named him Doc Holiday and he's living up to the name.  Thank you again for the little guy, he brings us so much joy and entertainment.

Love,

Katie

Hello,

This week Madison is learning the command “sit.” I think next week I will try to teach her how to “stay.” Oh, and she is very observant. When we went to visit the veterinarian to get Madison her shots-- her ears went straight up when she heard the sound of a plane in the distant sky J Have a terrific weekend.

Sincerely, Gloria

Emma has such a cute personality, is doing fantastic with potty training and just seems to fit with the family.

Thanks,

Mickey

Hello

I wanted to let you know that Madison (Makala's puppy) is doing well.
She is going to get her 2nd set of puppy shots next week.

I found out this past weekend--Madison likes to play in water.
In addition, she also enjoys people and other dogs.
Oh, and I took her to get her nails trimmed and the vet tech put her on
the scale and she weights a little over 5lbs :o)The vet tech also said
she was a very perky & friendly little dog...

This Friday Madison will turn 12 weeks!

Here are new pictures of my puppy, Walker!!  She is SO cute and sweet.  We had a fun day and she took plenty of naps!

Enjoy!
Alaina

She's already grown a bit, even in the short week we've had her.   One of her ears is standing up, and the other one is starting to.  She is a little mischievous and into everything, just as you would expect a puppy to be.  But we love her and are having a blast with her!

Mike

Hi Angie,
I love her!!! This is a cute pic of Sundae.  I will send you more
when she gets older.

Denise

Hi Angie!

Thank you very much!

Just FYI..we have named our puppy "Indy".

We had a good visit with the vet.  She was a very nice young woman.  Indy received a booster vaccination and full puppy exam.

We will keep you posted and send some pictures soon.

Thanks again!

Judy

Scout is doing great!  He is doing well with potty training and
sleeping through the night.  He loves the kids and his big sister
(the yorkie) Sasha.  He is a sweetie and loves to cuddle.  We are so
happy he is part of our family!  I'll send more photos in a couple of
weeks!
Thanks again,
Cynthia
